Darryl Leniuk is a photographer and journalist specializing in active lifestyle and adventure sports imagery for the editorial and advertising markets. He works with the best crew in the business: producers, stylists, and pro athletes to deliver powerful imagery that engages the viewer. From concept to final delivery, he strives to make the creative process a positive experience. His images have been used in advertising campaigns around the world. Darryl is a professional member of the Canadian Association of Professional Image Creators (CAPIC) and the Travel Media Association of Canada (TMAC).
When he’s not busy shooting he can be found pursuing his passions: adventure travel, scuba diving, mountain biking, backcountry skiing, climbing and sea kayaking, often lugging along large amounts of camera equipment ‘just in case.’ As a recognized expert in adventure travel, he writes a regular column called ‘Try This!’ for The Globe & Mail, Canada’s national newspaper. He lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, with his wife Claudia and baby Vincent, who share his love for adventure.
